December 21, 1972 - Joey Kelly was born in Gamonal, Spain.
Joey immediately began singing as soon as he could to join his older brother and sister's in their band, Kelly Kids.

In 1994 - "Over The Hump" was released and Joey was given to spots on the CD, Why Why Why and The Wolf.
Why Why Why flew to the top of the charts all over Europe. Joey was a star!

Although, not know for producing ballads or having the sweetest voice, Joey was lead man on the guitar and blew the fans away with nearly every performance.
Joey remained in the background for the most part, until it was his turn to come out. His alluring, quiet way about him, made the fans want to know more.
And there was a lot more to know about Joey Kelly!
Besides being lead guitar man in the Kelly Family he was also an avid Trialothon member! Going all over the world to compete in such marathons as the Iron Man and others.

Joey continued to do his trialathons and participate in the band. He had another huge single in 2004 with the release of Home Run, where he sang an awesome inspiring songs about suicide, called "Flip A Coin"

As the Kelly Family became more famous and performed more and more concerts, Joey developed his reputation of "The Strong One" with his constant flips and antics all over the stage.

In 1997, the album Growin Up was released, and the fans were pleased to see Joey's first ballad, "Angel's Flying" written for his mother.
On June 29, 2000 - Joey's wife Tanja gave birth to their first child, Luke Christopher Kelly.
Shortly after, Tanja and Joey had their second son, Leon Daniel and then daughter, Lilllian Ann (Lilly).
These days, Joey is not one of the Kellys who pursued a solo artist career. In fact, he spends a quiet life with his wife, Tanja and three children, Luke, Leon and Lilly. Although, he still participates in his trialathons and also with his family on stage from time to time... :)
